Proof of Concept Sprints

One hard question. A working answer in two to four weeks.

Big architecture, AI and platform decisions should not be made from slides. A PoC sprint builds the riskiest part first, on your AWS account, with production-shaped code, so you can decide with evidence. Startup, scale-up or enterprise, the format is the same. We are equally comfortable when the answer is “no”.

Who runs a sprint with us

Any company with a decision that is too expensive to guess.

Enterprises

De-risk a migration wave, a platform choice or a GenAI initiative before it goes to the steering committee. Evidence from your own data and accounts, structured to qualify for AWS proof-of-concept funding where available.

Scale-ups

Prove a Karpenter and Spot strategy on a copy of production, test Graviton or Trainium on a real model, or validate a serverless re-platform of one critical service before committing the roadmap.

Startups

Show investors and design partners a working system instead of a deck. Build the feature that decides the round on a fixed budget, with an architecture that will not need rewriting after it works.

How a sprint works

Four moves. Fixed price, fixed time, real code.

Frame

We agree the hypothesis, the success metrics, the budget cap and what “no” looks like. If the question is not sharp enough to answer, we sharpen it first.

Day 1–2

Build

A small senior team builds the thinnest version that exercises the real risk: latency, cost, accuracy, integration or scale. Infrastructure as code from the first commit.

Week 1–3

Measure

We run the PoC against your data and traffic patterns and record the numbers against the metrics we agreed, including a real cost model for production.

Final week

Decide

A short go / no-go report, the code, the cost model and a production plan if you proceed. Nothing you have to reverse-engineer from a demo.

Last day

Popular sprint topics

  • RAG or agent on your own documents with Amazon Bedrock
  • Trainium or Inferentia versus GPU for a real model
  • Karpenter and Spot on a copy of your EKS workload
  • Serverless re-platform of one critical service
  • Data lake or streaming pipeline on your real volumes
  • Landing zone and migration pilot for one application

What you get

  • Working code in your repositories and AWS account
  • Measured results against agreed metrics
  • Production cost model and target architecture
  • Go / no-go recommendation, in writing
  • A team that already knows your context if you proceed

What it costs

  • Fixed price, agreed before we start
  • Two to four weeks, no extensions without your say
  • AWS proof-of-concept funding applied where you qualify
  • Credited against the production engagement if you continue
